Mere Varm: Gardening Day :D

Today was rainy and cloudy. But I could feel that I was warm-hearted from today's work. It was sacred labor :). Few days ago, I knew that soon, my apartment building who are living in the same building together would work with gardening in the shared garden which is for the same apartment building residents. I confirmed it at the board which is for people living in the same apartment building. It explained about gardening date and information about it, what we will do together in the garden and who will participate in this work by signatures. I also signed up :). Before uploading this green paper, I removed my neighbors's names on the paper for respect for my neighbor's privacy.

Everybody gathered in our basement at 11 am.
Actually, today was my first time to meet my neighbors since I started to live in this apartment. I couldn't meet everybody before today, but finally I could see my neighbors.:D I introduced myself a little bit x) I could feel everybody was smiling and kind to me. After small conversation we started to work in the garden.
I worried because of rain. But, soon it was no problem to us. We didn't care.

My position was to clean up all the vases, get rid of old plants from the vases and weed the lawn. :) The first time, everything was dirty and clumsy x). But it was going well to become clean. Almost, I worked by my hands, but some places we needed a special tool for catching the old grass. Our garage already had many tools!:D

Everybody were also working hard. And then the garden was cleaned up more and more.

Around lunch time, we were very hungry. And fortunately, the rain stopped. :D We had teatime with some snacks and cakes. :D I think I didn't feel any awkward atmosphere with them. I think, here Denmark is very developed. Each person's life is independent but it's also possible to cooperate with people who live together. Even it was my first work with my neighbors, but I felt as a natural member of this apartment. :D I ate potato chips with cola and a piece of chocolate cake (or two) :). That time, one of today's members was making fire for sausages and bread on the grill for when we finish work.

After teatime, we started again but the rain came again x). Anyway, gardening was almost done.
Normally, I'd like to decorate flowers with vases in the house. But, today was my first time to make a big decoration for everybody and myself. I will remember this time in my life. It was a very good experience for me. I could feel going back to the farming life, as a human part of nature! I could feel my precious home, land and life. :)
My hometown is surrounded with many buildings. I couldn't feel any smell of nature and fresh air and my life was a little bit selfish.
And after high school, I never felt like today, which means today was real collaboration with people. It's been a long time since I felt like this. I really appreciate my neighbors and today's chance :).

Finally sausage and bread time! :D And during eating sausages, I could see we have also a beautiful cherry blossom tree in the garden. :)

After work, I couldn't believe my eyes! The start was small, but the result was amazing!:D
It was very worth it working for a better life. I think the garden is showing it's owner's face who cared of it and the value of life. Like a mirror! But, it's because of nice people, good teamwork that brought this amazing result. :) I didn't expect today's result, but, we did.
This is not my garden. This is our garden :). We showed strong power for life like a flower blooming for Spring. Our life is like Spring, Spring is like us. :)
